By downloading, installing, or using the IngredientsCheck mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

IngredientsCheck is a mobile application that provides:

• OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to read ingredient labels from images
• AI-powered analysis of food ingredients using Google’s Gemini API
• Ingredient comparison between different products
• Educational information about food ingredients
• Premium subscription features

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

3.1 Free Features

The App offers basic functionality at no cost, including ingredient analysis with advertisements.

3.2 Premium Subscription

Premium subscription provides:

• Ad-free experience
• Unlimited ingredient analyses
• Additional features as announced

3.3 Subscription Billing

Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store. All billing, refunds, and subscription management are subject to Apple’s Terms of Service and policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Upload malicious content or attempt to harm the App’s functionality
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair its performance
• Access the App’s data or systems without authorization

5. Disclaimer of Medical Advice

IMPORTANT: IngredientsCheck is for informational and educational purposes only. The App does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. The ingredient analysis provided by our AI system should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• The App’s analysis may not be 100% accurate
• Individual dietary needs and allergies vary
• We are not responsible for any health-related decisions made based on App information

6. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate ingredient analysis using advanced AI technology, we cannot guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of OCR text recognition
• Completeness of ingredient information
• Real-time updates of ingredient data
• Accuracy of AI-generated analysis

Users should verify ingredient information independently when making important dietary decisions.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Google Gemini API: For AI ingredient analysis
• Google AdMob: For advertisement display
• Firebase: For app analytics and configuration
• Apple StoreKit: For subscription management

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

12. App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the Apple App Store Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple’s terms, Apple’s terms shall prevail regarding App Store transactions.

13. International Use

The App is available in multiple languages (English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian) and may be used internationally. Users are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IngredientsCheck regarding use of the App.
